At the beginning of this month Teachín staff, Aine-Máire and Louise, organised our very first Seachtain Chothaithe (Nurture Week) and what a success it was! Buíochas mór a chairde, thanks to everyone for your full participation. Here is a list of some of the fab things that were going on and some pictures of our fabulous celebrations.
- Daily Internet Wellbeing Posts and signposting to useful information
- Healthy Breakfasts for ALL staff and pupils
- A successful open morning for parents
- Whole School Nurture Sessions when each class had a nurturing afternoon and shared a nurture story.
- Whole School Nurture Bucket Filling Competition with a celebration of nurture champions in each class.
- Story-telling and play sessions for Rang 1 and Rang 2
- Official launch of our new Greeting Board in every classroom
- Lesson materials and support provided to all teacher
- Daily news on School Website
- Some classes completed art and language activities throughout the week.
Nurture week has been planned again for 1-5 June 2020 so keep the date in your diary and watch our for more nurture news and posts early next year – tús maith leath na hoibre!
